BIO - CHARLIE McFARLEY
Brought up in Hackney - East London during the 1980's Charlie was raised on a diet of underground music and art, As a professional graffiti artist he draws his influences from the early days of graffiti and 1970s comic book art.
Charlie Mcfarley has exhibited work in galleries across the UK and has had successful solo shows in London, including his 2017 show 'Vandal with care'.
Alongside his graffiti work charlie has also had a career in the music industry for the past 17 years.
Starting out as a club lighting engineer at the Scala in London's Kings cross Charlie has designed and operated light shows for many UK festivals and live shows and has spent time on the road touring with numerous bands including RATBOY and Asian Dub Foundation.
Bouncing between Lighting design and graffiti artwork has let charlie develop new skill in both fields.
